Program Description:

Programs through CUNY

As a CUNY student you have easy access to more than 165 programs in over 50 countries.  CUNY programs are designed with you in mind. You can enroll in any CUNY program open to all CUNY students (some are restricted by College) and earn credit toward your degree while utilizing financial aid.  We work closely with our sister schools to ensure that your experience abroad will be one to write home about. Although you will be attending a CUNY program, you will still need to complete the CSI application through this site for proper transfer of credits and to facilitate your payments and your financial aid. Use the Apply button a choose "Other Programs - CUNY" as your program.

CUNY program search directory

After you have applied through this CSI portal and have made an application to the CUNY College host of the program you will attend, you will most likely need to register on ePermit through CUNYfirst.  Please be sure to get instructions on registration from the CUNY host college that sponsors your program.

Regardless of the program's expectations, students are still required to meet the CSI standard of 2.5 GPA. Other requirements are set by the program.

Dates & Costs

Dates will vary by program. CSI students are still eligible to apply for CSI scholarships and could possibly use financial aid depending on the program. You can use financial aid, though exactly what type of grant or loan you can use depends on the program duration and your specific financial aid package.  Please be sure to notify Russell Davis, Senior Study Abroad Advisor, at that you would like to use financial aid.  We will work with you to prepare an Overseas Expense Verification form that you will need before you can make an appointment with a financial aid advisor for further information on the use of your scholarship and financial aid package.

Typical application deadlines are:
Summer: March 15
Fall: March 15
Spring: October 15
Please see below for application cycles currently open, and any applicable extensions.
